C++ IDE - Delete Your Account and Data

How to request deletion of your C++ IDE account and everything stored with it.

Last updated: 7 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your C++ IDE for Android account and the data stored with it. It applies to the app published by Shahid Khan under the package name dev.cppide.ide.

Before you start

If you never created an account, there is nothing to delete on our side. The app works fully signed out, and in that mode your projects, source code, compiler output and debugger sessions never leave your device. Uninstalling the app removes them.

How to request deletion

Send an email to shahidkhan.dev88@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject line “Delete my C++ IDE account”.

Open a pre-filled deletion request

We ask you to send it from your registered address so we can confirm the request is really yours. If you no longer have access to that mailbox, email us anyway and tell us your display name and roughly when you signed up, and we will work out another way to verify you.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is removed:

What is not affected

How long it takes

We complete deletions within 30 days of receiving your request, and email you to confirm when it is done. In practice it is usually much faster. Deletion is permanent, and we cannot restore an account afterwards, so please make sure you have saved anything you want to keep first.

Retention

We keep your account data only for as long as your account exists. There is no separate retention period after deletion beyond the routine backup cycle, which rolls over within 30 days.
