C++ IDE - Privacy Policy

How the C++ IDE for Android app handles your data.

Last updated: 6 August 2026

C++ IDE (“the app”) is developed by Shahid Khan. If you have any question about this policy, contact shahidkhan.dev88@gmail.com.

Using the app without an account

You can use the app without signing in. In that mode your projects, source code, compiler output and debugger sessions stay on your device. Nothing you write is uploaded, and the app works fully offline. Downloading exercise packs contacts our server to fetch the exercise content, but does not require an account and does not send us anything about you.

What we collect if you create an account

When you sign up or sign in we collect and store:

How your login is stored on your device

If you tick “Remember me”, your session token is saved in the app’s private storage so you stay signed in. If you do not tick it, the token is kept only in memory and is gone when the app closes. Signing out removes the saved token.

What we do not do

Where your data goes

Account details, chat messages and uploaded solutions are stored on servers we operate. All requests are made over HTTPS.

How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. To delete your account and everything stored with it, including chat messages and uploaded solutions, email shahidkhan.dev88@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done.

Full instructions, and a pre-filled request link, are on the account deletion page.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We use HTTPS for all network requests. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top.
